setting up the monitor screen and the early birds

Drive-in movie in Florence, OR

It was an experience to remember the drive-in movie which took place at the Miller Park in Florence, Oregon on Saturday, the 11th of September.

The movie shown was American Graffiti. It started around 8:30PM but vehicles started to park as early as 6:00 o'clock PM to get a good spot and to avoid the hassle of traffic. Admission was free.

This wonderful and rare opportunity is made possible by Scott Hicks who is the owner of American Cinema Equipment. Thank you so much.

Also thanks to all the volunteers who helped ease the traffic and to the Boys & Girls Club who provided us popcorn, hotdogs and other goodies.
