Have always wanted to hike into this falls. Did so today. Its an up and down steep trail.Saw a cougar track while on the trail. seeing that... put us on alert.
This falls is hidden away, and very close to Alsea falls, Its about 2/3 of a mile hike to see this falls. The trail starts out nice and flat.. but then starts climbing.It climbs up and then down,,up and down all the way to the falls.
There are some steep places on the downhill side towards the falls and when its been raining, a bit slick..watch your step. Its fairly dark on the trail when its cloudy.
All in all..its a good hike and good workout...
