Arranged to visit Christchurch New Zealand earlier in the year to see the sights. An earthquake early in September nearly put a stop to that. Reports that the city was recovering took the trip out of limbo. Found repairs being made to The Arts Center at Rolleston and Hereford streets. The Christ Church Cathedral appears to have weathered the quake well. Felt two aftershocks while I was there (horizontal shifting).
