my father is on unemployment he recieves it on his reliacard. yesterday he went to the 76 gas station on main street in springfield owned by rons oil company and bought $10 in gas . when he went to buy some milk at the store he was decined. when we looked on line at his reliacard to see what happened there was a $74 dollar hold for rons oil. when he called them they said it was a new policy that they hold $74 for any card transaction. this morning it cleared for only the $10 but for people on unemployment that money is really important. this morning he went to the 76 station in junction city nad agian got $10 in gas to his surprise another $74 hold! rons oil company also owns that one. so i just think people should be made aware for any card transactions at any stations owned by rons oil they will have $74 of their precious money held. which could lead to over draft fees on accounts.money taht we just dont have to lose.

The gas stations do not hold the money. It is the bank. Reliacard will tell you any pay at pump transaction will hold $74.
