A very strong gust of wind that lasted 10-20 seconds, then the power went out. It was very strange because a few minute later I went outside and the sky was blue above me and the trees were still. Upon walking to the end of the driveway I discovered that a large conifer tree was completely blocking Hwy 99W just south of Corvallis and took out a power pole. Could this have been due to a tornado or microburst?
