Silver Falls is located about 25 miles east of Coos Bay. To get there is a windy paved road up until the last 6 miles or so. This road is non maintained,,is gravel,,and has many many large potholes and is quite muddy. Not recommending a low slung car for this.
The hike to the falls is about 1/3 mile on a 15% grade upwards.. Yes..its all uphill. The view is so worth it!!! There is a lot of water flow coming over the falls now, and makes a loud roaring sound.
