I looked out my window at the hill across the river and thought something was wrong with my eyes! I rubbed them and looked again, the scene was still the same. The trees looked blurry and distorted. It wasn't my eyes, it wasn't smoke, it wasn't clouds, it was FOG and the sun shining through it at just the right angle. The North Umpqua river area never ceases to amaze me!
