Animal Shelter Donations

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 280, in Tangent, took up a collection of dog and cat toys and food for 2 county shelters. This time of year many forget about the animals in shelters. These 2 pictures are what we collected in a matter of about 3 weeks. The items were divided up between 2 shelters. 1/2 went to the Lane County Animal Shelter in Eugene and the other 1/2 went to the Linn County Animal Shelter in Albany. If there are others that would like to donate, they can sure use more heavy duty dog toys, like "Kongs" for their "Power Chewers", and more rawhide dog treats as the dogs are in kennels and get bored. They deserve a Christmas too ! :)
