Common Merganser in Ayres Lake, N. Delta

One of many waterfowl found at Ayres Lake, a Common Merganser rises and flaps his wings (to have a look around?) This is a diving bird that eats fish found in the ponds and lakes. Ayres Lake is at the north end of the Delta Ponds system.
