Sunflower is a 29 year old mustache parakeet who was born in Coquille Oregon. Normally these birds live to 25 years old. Sunflower attributes his long life to a healthy diet of grapes, apples and tempeh. He can talk and he enjoys flying around the house, chewing on anything left out for him, and dropping items off his cage onto the floor so his owners can retrieve them.
