Markus is 6 years old and was so excited to be able to take a training session at the University of Oregon on March 19, 2011. Markus, 5 years old, received a ribbon, his very first ribbon. He was very enthusiastic, and even danced with one of the UO track and field atheletes. He did tell me that he did okay on the long jump, but he "ate some sand when I landed on my face in the sand. But, that was okay, I just spit it out."
