Our 10 yr old son cody conley caught his biggest trout ever at the j.c. pond on 3/31/11 about 2pm. it weighed 9.5lbs & 27in. He caught it lure fishing, 7 brought it in all on his own (dad helped net this big one). My husband,& I take cody & our 5 yr old to the derby every yr because they have a blast, & on nice days like yesturday. cody's fished the derby scince he was 3 & won 1st pl the 1st 4 yrs, then 2nd a couple times.But this is his biggest trout yet. Just had to share this with kval & fish & wildlife. thanks...ruben & pennie (proud parents)
