We almost doubled the amount of runners from last year and seems to be gaining each year. Eugene Marathon has now got it's name up with the big boys to the likes of the Boston Marathon and The New York and more and also in the top 10 of the best marathons to run. I dont think there's a more beautiful run anywhere in the states as this 23 mile course around the city, next to the Willamette River, various parks and waterways and starts and ends at our Historic Stadium Hayward Field. Thousands turned out to line the streets and cheer on the runners to give them encentive to keep up the pace. Great Job to all.
