Academy of Arts and Academics Graduation

Seniors met one last time for pictures before their graduation ceremony on Saturday afternoon. The Academy of Arts and Academics (A3) commencement exercises were held at the Richard E. Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield. The class of 2011 had 29 graduates and is the first graduating class since the school obtained charter status. Professional Storyteller Mark Lewis delivered the Keynote address. Other speakers during the event included School Director Michael Fisher, Springfield Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Nancy Golden, A3 Governing Board President Howard Jewett, and senior Ian Anderson.
