Sarah Gonzalez's Medical Fund

Papa's Pizza on West 11th will be holding a fundraiser for Sarah Gonzalez's Medical Fund all day Monday June 20th. Bring in Flyer and 50% of all food procedes will be donated to Wells Fargo Sarah L Gonzalez Medical Fund. Please help come support Sarah and her fight against Thyroid Cancer. Sarah was born in 1983 and has lived locally her whole life. She Graduated from Sheldon High School in 2002. She recently endured two miscarriages in six months, and was advised by her doctor to have her thyroid checked. Within weeks she was hospitalized, facing a surgery that would remove eighteen lumps of cancer from her neck and throat. Since undergoing surgery she has undergone multiple treatments of Radioacitve Iodine. Recently she has learned that the Cancer has spread to her chest. Her treatments for the coming years will require regular blood work and scans. Every six months the cancer will be treated with Radioactive Iodine, at least for the next two years. During treatment she is advised not to make contact with other people due to the toxic nature of the therapy. Sarah endures intense nausea, fatigue, and must abide to a strict and expensive diet. Sarah's life is precious. When she found out that she had cancer, Sarah comforted, calmed, and consoled her friends and family. Her selfless and compassionate love is a blessing to those who know her. In the months that have passed since finding out, she has remained patient and calm in the face of the unknown. Please help us to make this fundraiser for our friend a success, and help to support the Fight against Thyroid Cancer. Flyers may be picked up at Oz Fittness in Springfield at the Gateway Mall, and also The Daily Bagel on Goodpasture Island Loop in Eugene, across from Cheveron gas station. Any donations can be made at ALL Wells Fargo locations in the name, Sarah L. Gonzalez Medical Fund. Thankyou for your support.
