While walking through the park shooting an assignment for class, I came across a Eugene police bicycle officer detaining a male subject. A few minutes later, another officer in a patrol vehicle came to the scene and arrested the subject. I did not witness what led to the man being detained but was impressed with the speed in which the officers took care of the situation. I often see officers patrol the park but this is the first time I have witnessed an arrest.
