After speading the early morning posting almost 100 large American Flags all around Springfield & Glenwood as part of the Springfield Jaycee's "Flags For Patriotism" program, I returned home and set up my own Patriotic Flags Displays here on Donovan Drive!
So now I'm flying a few Patriotic Flags this Independece Day in my front yard and on the front of my house and garage. On the house (L-to-R) a 6'x10' 50-Star American Flag and a 3'x5' POW*MIA Flags. The four Flags in the back row are (L-to-R) a 13-Star Betsy Ross, a 33-Star Fort Sumter, a 50-Star American, and our own State of Oregon Flag. In the middle row the three Flags are (L-to-R) a U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and a U.S. Navy Flag. In the front row the two Flags are (L-to-R) a U.S. Air Force and a U.S. Coast Guard Flag. On the front of my garage is a 8'x12' American Flag. And finally, on my car are four small (12"x22") U.S. car Flags, and my two outside mirrors are covered by Flag "bras". HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, AMERICA !!!
Now it's time for a quick nap and then up-and-at-'em at around 5 or 6 o'clock to head out to Springfield to pick up all those Jaycees Flags! YAWN!
