Rumor has it the Lane county fair commissioners and Rick Reno will have all the bathrooms closed except in the commercial building. Buck houses and hand washing stations will be provided. In the past both bathrooms and hand washing stations are full most of the time. The bathrooms being closed are in the animal exhibitor barns. The worry is that people will not wash their hands after leaving the animal areas. The word Fair used to ring with showing your wares. Animals have been a large part. Adults and children love the animal exhibits. It still needs to be safe.
Commercial Carnivals are not Fairs. Folks should know before
they go. Buck houses are not nice on a hot day. Pregnant woman should never use one and children have a harder time in them.

One more way for the County commissioners to try and get rid of the livestock. People already can't find the cattle and there are no pigs left at the fair. Who wants to come to the barns if you can't use better bath rooms?
