With the wind blowing for days on the Oregon Coast, the surf was high and the tide was coming in on Friday July 29th. We were at the Bandon South Jetty Park on the Coquille River taking pictures when we saw someone walking out to the end of the north jetty. I was angry because as I watched I felt the responsibility of trying to figure out who to call first if I witnessed him washed away by a wave. I couldn't help but wonder if he knew the danger he was in OR if he considered the danger he placed his would be rescuers in.
