Atlantic Circulation, Inc. Stikes Eugene

Sending people door to door nationwide, Atlantic Circulation, Inc. has come to Eugene, Oregon trying to scam people out of their hard-earned cash by selling fake magazine subsciptions. Even getting acknowledgment from the Better Business Bureau local authorities after hitting Spokane, Washington residents back in May 2008 ( There are many different ploys they use to obtain your money, For the residents of Hilton Drive between Bertelsen & Royal Avenue it's a simple college student selling magazines to earn points for a College Scholarship. When people are finally manipulated into giving cash, checks, or credit card numbers the magazines purchased never arrive and their calls go unanswered. The number listed is 717-755-3484, and they're only listed address is as follows:

Please be on the look out for these unlicensed door-to-door sales people out to get your money, your personal information and even your bank account information! If you see them please report them to your local law enforcement to help protect some other poor manipulated Oregonian, including the elderly.
Their other misdeeds are are all laid out online all one needs to do is google their name "Atlantic Circulation Inc."

Wow I definitely take very seriously any warning of companies "stiking" Eugene.

I'm ashamed to admit that I fell for this scam when we first moved to Eugene. Fortunately, we could afford to lose the little $ that was involved and I learned a valuable lesson. Unfortunately, I now trust NO ONE that comes to my door for ANY reason.

I'm just glad I can help people avoid losing all their cash to these people or worse they're kids. Some sites that say they hire teens or young adults to go door to door, take them out of town then ditch them in the middle of nowhere stranded. :/
