This is flowers on an artichoke plant. If you don't eat the artichoke fruit from the plant it will turn into a blossom. I have several artichoke plants and so does my neighbors. Several times the fruit is not picked to be eaten and produce flowers. These are unique. I have shared some with others who have never seen a artichoke blossom.
