Was down at the river next to Delta Sand & Gravel when 2 men in a Black Toyota Camry pulled into the river, parked their car, got out and proceeded to wash it using chemicals. When asked to stop doing so, they just laughed and continued to wash their filthy vehicle in the river, washing oil, antifreeze and who knows what else into the river among fish, dogs and children
Me being a Santa Clara resident, as well as an active fisherman. I was livid. I then contacted the Lane County Sheriffs department and filed a report. Although the dispatcher came across as miffed, we sat there for another 20 minutes and no active response.
Just another example of conflicting police department boundary lines?

You should have said they were smoking pot, the thugs in blue would have been there in minutes...

Could be that there is no law to prevent washing a vehicle in the river? The vehicle isn't submerged... so most likely its not going to have antifreeze or oil in the river..Usually the exterior of a car doesn't contain those things...
