Dateline WEST EUGENE...Last Spring I posted Mark Wiederhold's largest Steelhead ever and this time I present to you, his largest Chinook ever, over 33 pounds ! And all in the same year ! Mark caught this with the help of his brother on Sept 14th trolling herring near the mouth of the UMPQUA we think, but some locations remain "clouded " by mutual agreement, in the Oregon fog. Some guys have all the luck, but in Mark's case it is certainly more than luck. He posses the skills of the best guides and the time and dedication to his quest is undeniable. I suggested he get his guide's license, but he is too busy having fun ! The neighborhood is starting to smell like a fish market, but who's complaining. I like the smell of barbeque Salmon, smoked Salmon, grilled Salmon and raw Salmon ! This will make a LOT of SUSHI !...Mark, get out the Saki and lets party DUDE !.....Randy
Mark catches another MONSTER FISH !
