Every year as winter sets in and the geese fly south for the winter, one of their very favorite stops are the green lush lawns of Winston Churchill High School at 18th and Baily hill...the flights over the neighborhoods are amazing with thousands of honking geese and everybody in the area rushes out of the house just before dark to see them lift off for the large reservoir west of us to roost in safety on the water overnight. Check this out and bring your cameras !
