When we saw our neighbors garage open, looking ransacked with items strewn throughout and even littering the driveway, and his door also open, we wanted to make sure that everything was okay. We went to the door and yelled inside, asking if anybody needed help. When we didn't get an answer, we called the police.
The police also found things off and decided that they should go in on a welfare check. While checking, they found what they deemed a "suspicious device." The bomb squad was then called out to make sure that everything was okay.
The first two pictures were taken around 10AM while the bomb squad got their robot ready. The last photo was taken about 4PM, and is how the gentleman left the device in his driveway.
Overall, I'd much rather have a lot less drama in the morning with my coffee!
