My husband and I were on a mini-vacation in Yachats this weekend. Watching the weather reports, we decided to leave early this morning instead of spend the day leasurely making our way home to Marcola. I saw a hole in the clouds above Yachats and thought the light would make a good picture. Driving home proved to be as challenging as the news suggested it might be. We were caught in heavy snow on Badger Mountain and in Veneta, and felt that if we had been even 30 minutes later, the roads would have been harder to pass. We got to Marcola to find that the storm had not hit yet and were relieved. Once home, it immediately started snowing. We looked at our pictures and saw the Angel in the clouds and knew that we had been protected on our journey home! Coincidentlly, we stayed in a cabin called "Angelic Sanctuary." WOW!!!
