Woke up sunday morning in Elmira close to Noti to a glorious dusting of white everywhere. the whole family immediately got up to go play including our 3 dogs. My dad and I spent all day sunday and monday working on our detailed 7 foot snowman that included a big beer belly and and ice hat. We got 3 inches Saturday night, another inch on Sunday, 3 inches Sunday night, and about 1.5 inches today. My dad, Carter (40)turned into a little kid before my eyes, throwing snowballs left and right. He still had to make the snowman building process into a construction project. He almost brought out the level. haha. Tobey, our 3 year old black lab seemed to have the most fun though. This is only his second year of snow and he still jumps each time a snowflake lands on him. This was a big problem for him because it started to snow almost every hour. Best days so far of 2012. Keep the snow coming please :)
