We woke up this morning to the Long Tom river overflowing our yard. Our 5 acres of land is completely flooded with the exception of our house. The water has just reach past 6 feet. Many of the neighbors have evacuated and are staying with other on higher ground. We live right off Warthen near Knight rd. Knight road was closed due to flooding and Territorial is impassable without a truck. i'm about ready to pull out the kayak and paddle to town. At least the dogs are taking something good out of this. They can't contain themselves now that the river is only feet away. They love to go swim out. Moose and Tobey race to see who can get the tennis ball first. of course moose always wins though
