We woke up this morning to high water, but before noon had the normally two to four foot deep creek invading our whole property including the garage. Fortunately the garage is the ground floor of the house, we were able to remove most things upstairs, so our home is minimally impacted. The flood waters continue to rise this evening but are finally slowing down, meanwhile our house is filled with garage tools, boxes, etc. some dry, some drying. Our animals are safe and vehicles on high ground. We are safe, too, but not able to leave the area due to flooding and mud slides keeping the roads closed.
