Corner of Echo Hollow and Marshall.

Hit & Run Driver Sought in Accident

In the early hours of Sunday March 4, 2012, a silver or grey vehicle, possibly a smaller SUV or a pickup with a canopy, crashed through the fenced yard of a home on the corner of Echo Hollow Rd and Marshall Ave. Between 2:45 and 3:00am, the occupants of the home heard the impact as the driver of the unidentified vehicle, with no signs of stopping, sped across the yard, destroying the majority of the chain-link fencing that surrounded the front yard, tearing up the yard and heavily damaging a van, which was parked in the driveway. After hitting the van, the vehicle then backed up about ten feet and sped off eastbound onto Marshall Ave, possibly continuing northbound as it approached the end of Marshall Ave. The responsible vehicle will likely have a large amount of very obvious damage, judging by the condition of the property following the incident and the amount of debris from their vehicle that was left behind. Passing witnesses stated that the vehicle did have a flat tire as it left the scene. Shortly before this incident, the same vehicle was spotted speeding and driving recklessly around the parking lot of the McDonalds located at the corner of Echo Hollow Rd. and Barger. A police report has been filed.
