Lake Oswego K9 Kai was one of a dozen dogs showing his stuff at the annual Springfield Police Department K9 Competition on June 16, 2012. He was assisted by his able handler Ofc. Bryan McMahon. Kai earned one second place ribbon but the big multi-year winner was K9 Xar and Ofc. Jason Harvey of the Corvallis Police Department. The event was held at Silke Field in Springfield.
