Saw this beautiful sunrise this morning and had to go home and get my camera. The sun looked like a molten ball of lava, but we could look directly at it without hurting our eyes. Photos taken from the corner of Howard Ave. & Hemlock St.

I don't know what camera you use but if it has a setting for "beach" or "sunset" and darkens the photo, try that setting and zoom in as far as you can on the sun when it's filtered with clouds/atmosphere like that - you might be able to see sunspots!
