My wife and I have had a tortoise as a pet for a long time. I saw that someone had shown a tortoise at Wildlife Safari which they had. When we got "Pete" our tortoise it (he) was fully grown and aged. We have had it for 45 years plus. That is longer that we have had our daughter. We also have a female tortoise. The great thing is that they are quiet but friendly. The age is probably 100 years?
