I was on a trip with my fellow Willamette classmates to Mapleton when on the way back we were stopped by traffic. there was alot of smoke and flames from the vehicle and the firetrucks and ambulances were arriving on the scene. were were stuck there for at least half an hour since we were on a bus and could not turn around until the traffic behind us had left. we watched the firemen try to put out the flames but the fire would stop and ignite again it looked like. my heart goes out to the families of thoses involved.
