Hail and thunderstorms passing through today. We had periods of brilliant sunshine and cloudbursts of hail and rain. Just as the sun was getting swallowed in the clouds, a small rainbow appeared over the top of it, looking kind of like The Cat in the Hat - with whiskers of sunrays! On my way out of Winchester Bay, I spotted a Great Blue Heron flying over the road ahead and watched as he landed in a tree on my side of the road. Thank goodness for my new camera with 140X zoom! LOL!!!
