Beautiful Clouds East of Florence

These clouds are what my late grandpa used to call "dunder bumpers". These were taken in or near Old Town Florence this afternoon. 03/07/2013

Thanks Kim! Grandpa was German. "Dunder" is germanic for thunder.

Here's more: the original Santa's reindeer names of "Donner and Blitzen" (German for "thunder and lightning") were "Donder and Blixem" (Dutch for "thunder and lighting"). Most Dutch and German words are used interchangeably since they are neighbors.
