After one of the biggest winter snowfalls on record the folks at Willamette Pass treated their customers to a unique treat - Skiing on the Peak 2 chair and riding the Oregon Skyway gondolas on a picture perfect day.

Father's Day can't be any sweeter than hitting the slopes under sunny skies. As one skier said "it sure beats mowing the lawn."

The ski area will offer one more day of lift served delight Sunday June 15th. The gondola will be turning at 9am. Skiers and snowboarders pay $25 to ride the gondola and Peak 2 chair to ski the Backside runs. Sightseers can soak up the view and some serious sun for only $14. No rentals are available. Only intermediate and advance runs are open.

Why. Wasn't. I. There! Great idea - how many lift tickets were sold each day? And what's Willamette Pass offering in terms of lift-served mtb?
