Not-So-Typical Sight on the Coast

I have never seen a shelf cloud like this in the 13 years I've lived on the coast. I can say with certainty that I hope to never see one like this again! lol!!

All three of these are great shots. If it weren't for the surf, it would remind me of several trips I had made to the mid-west. When you see them back there you had better run for cover. Excellent photos. Mike

Thank you Mike! My family is from Elgin, IL so I am all too familiar with this type of cloud...I just never expected to see one coming out of the Pacific ocean, right at me! LOL!!

Thanks Kim! It was crazy and scary standing there watching this come at me! BTW, the last time I had a conversation about Chicago with someone in comments, he turned out to be a cousin! Actor Bailey Chase (Luetgert) is 4th cousin once removed...LOL!!
