Day one finished with a reminder of what's great about the Olympic Trials and Games: The sheer pride and joy the athletes share in their successes and in earning the right to represent their countries. From there, things only got better, as countless records were broken and all the events provided awesome performances and excitement for all at Hayward to see. Tyson Gay ran the fastest 100 meter time ever recorded to close the opening weekend and set-up what's sure to be five more amazing competition days.
