Hay Truck Fire Closes Hwy 99w South of C

A Hay truck burned in the northbound lanes of Hwy 99W, jsut south of Corvallis Tuesday morning. The truck was a total loss as was the load of grass straw.

I think it's important that people realize that being outside of a fire district does not mean that the fire department doesn't come when you call. Corvallis Fire actually responded with an engine from Station 1, and Monroe Fire sent a tender.
