While walking on the beach near Rockaway, Oregon on my vacation, I saw what I at first thought was some cardboard washed up on the shore. A closer look reveal that it looked like what I think is a stingray. It was about 3 feet across from wing tip to wing tip. It had the texture of thick rubber. I'm not sure if this is a stingray, or some other sort of ray. The tail was rather short. Interesting to see.
Stingray on the Oregon coast?
