Another Fire Near Hwy 58

Mid afternoon today, September 24th, a new fire broke out near Hwy 58, about 10 miles from Oakridge. The smoke stack can be seen from almost every location in Oakridge. Forest Service personnel are on location working with the helicopter to put out the blaze at this time, with more personnel on the way soon. Uknown how much of it is contained. No residents are being evacuated, and highly doubtful this fire will come that close as yet.
