Three year old Christopher had his first sledding experience on Monday. Traffic was light on Wilshire Lane in SW Eugene and the snow was perfect for this first time ride. Dad was a good sport and pulled him all around the neighborhood. Onlookers smiled and waved from the warmth of their homes. Later the two were seen sliding down their driveway. After sledding into a pile of snow covered leaves, Christopher was quoted as saying, "Oooh, a snow drift, just like Thomas the Tank Engine."
