Zak & Dadda time. That's what my son calls it. He's developing a real love for weather watching so Sunday afternoon, I decided to put a camera in his hands and let him play. The world from a 6 year old perspective is amazing.
Zak doesn't know the difference between shutter speed and Cumulus clouds, but he instinctively knows how to compose a good image. Don't ask me how either. I just told him how to press the button.
Our time up on Skinner's Butte was a real treat. We were caught up in a gamut of Willamette Valley weather; from crystal blue skies to a pounding hail-storm and everything in between. It was a wondrous 5 hours of playful Zak & Dadda time.
I'm glad to report that I "grew-down" a little bit while weather watching and picture taking with my son that amazing Sunday afternoon.
