Video of Tea Party Protest - Springfield

A Tea Party Protest was held at the Gateway Post Office in Springfield the evening of April 15th to protest higher taxes, bailouts, and extreme government deficit spending. Hundreds of protesters surrounded the Post Office, with many of them carrying signs and American flags.

As cars drove by on Gateway Street, many honked their horns in support of the protest. The crowd let out many cheers and yells, to defy the government's current economic and tax policies. The protest lasted into the evening, as tax payers continued to arrive to mail off their tax forms and payments to the government.

I personally worry about the greed factor here. While I disagree with some Federal spending, many get Federal stipends for police, fire, medical, and road repair expenses; all vital services that we depend on. Is it worth abolishing Federal taxes?
