This Striped Meadowhawk dragonfly on a pansy was taken in my garden last August. Soon the dragonfly nymphs will be coming out of the water and transforming in to adults in great numbers as the weather gets warmer. This is what I am waiting for and it should happen very soon. I did see my first dragonfly this year at the one of the Kirk Park ponds last week.
