Restuant Panics over Flu

I stopped by this resturaunt to get a sandwich for work, when i saw this notice on the door. i found it childish and very unprofesional. i am outraged that the managment of this subway resturaunt( on 7th &Main st) in springfield is allowed to post this without thinking of the potential panic it could cause. I work with the public on a daily basis with my job.

I work at Taco Bell & we have a sign in the back saying this too, only ours is actually printed out on a computer. It's for your safety and ours that you don't home in if you may be contagious with something.

Oh goodness...I think 'outrage' is better saved for the state of our heath care system which encourages people to 'plug along' and avoid doctors and recovery time when they're sick and contagious rather than with this completely reasonable request.

I work in a public place.. a restaurant, this is posted in our office on the board for everyone to see, anyone's who works with food knows it's a "rule". Anyone who eats foot in those very establishments should have no problem doing the same.

I do not find this to be an unusual request. Those who have colds or the flu often expose people around them. I am all for asking that if a person is sick, please take a sick day or three and curtail your activities.

There's no reason this should cause panic. A public place serving food should request that potentially contagious people refrain from entering. Anyone with symptoms [of anything contagious] should have the courtesy to stay home and not infect others
