We have a young bear that visits our street almost every day it doesn't rain. After a quiet winter where he was most likely "denned up", he is again visible almost every evening around 7:00 pm. He's fairly shy, but will stand and watch you if you maintain your distance. Our 7# dog is convinced he can take on this intruder on HIS street and our cat will stand nose to nose with the bear, puffed up as big as he can get. So far, the cat and dog have kept the bear from staying around long.
