The Lane County Fire District No.1 did a controlled house fire exercise on this donated house owned by Swanson Group Mfg. LLC on their Noti Sawmill property today (May 31) on the corner of Fir St. & Noti Loop Rd. There was volunteer fire fighters form all around the rural Veneta areas that are in this Lane County #1 Fire District. They did fire fighting exercise most of the day on this old unoccupied two story house. First on the inside of it, then on the outside until it was completely burned to the ground.
