We sometimes take for granted how beautiful our area is, and how lucky we are to have such a wonderful river. We enjoyed this warm evening by dinning next to the beautiful Willamette at the North Bank restaurant in Eugene.
It was an ideal setting for a pleasant dinner. A hungry mother cat, however, approached us while we dined, begging for food. I felt so sorry for this unfortunate mother, who had 3 crying baby kittens nearby, that I gave her half of the meat from my meal. I figured that she needed it more than I did.
Later, 4 women who had been dinning at the restaurant, attempted to rescue the baby kittens. One other diner became unhappy with the disturbance that they caused, however.
